Scope and Contents

This item is a Treasurer’s book, with entries dating from 1932 to 1934. The book records the receipt of monies for property taxes and includes a check register for accounts paid. The first part of the hand-written book has pages titled, “Individual Orders and Cash.” The second section, starting on page 51, is titled, “Check Register = Distribution.” Pages 57-58 also have columns labeled “Food, Fuel, Clothing, and Other.” A separate piece of paper, tucked inside the back book cover is titled “Amounts Appropriated for Davis County Relief beginning January 1933,” and lists the various cities within the County.
